Information for existing grantees
We recognise that the Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak is a major global event, and that the current situation may have a far reaching impact on charities and community organisations. There are many changes to ‘business as usual’ being proposed by funding organisations and commercial businesses for their grant making.
As you know, a grant is more than just a donation; it carries a commitment to delivering particular work and reporting on the impact of that work. Charitable organisations in receipt of grants, across many sectors, may need to adapt their project time frames or may not be able to report on those activities in a timely fashion, and are understandably keen to work with their funders to achieve the best possible ends in these difficult circumstances. We also recognise that many charities may have suspended activities until further notice due to the current critical situation.
We have been in touch with all current grantees regarding particular adjustments for their grant, however if you are concerned about your ability to meet the requirements of an existing grant as a result of the impact of Covid-19 on your organisation, please contact the grant making team.
