Head of Charity Advisory and Programmes

Monica leads the team which includes overall responsibility for CAF’s charity advisory, grantmaking and legacy services, operating budget and personnel. Monica joined CAF in July 2016 and is part of CAF’s leadership group.

Monica was previously CEO of the charity Dress for Success Greater London and the National Head of England for the BBC Children in Need Appeal. She has an extensive background in grantmaking, change management and organisational development.

Ingrid has over 20 years of grantmaking experience and works across the design, management and delivery of a range of UK and international grant programmes across our portfolio of Trust and corporate clients.

These programmes focus on employee engagement, access to STEM education, workforce development and supporting local communities. Ingrid has also been instrumental in our roll-out of rapid response funds, managing energy-based grant programmes and supporting vulnerable grantees.

Lead Advisory Manager

As Lead Advisory Manager, Dawa is responsible for managing key partnerships with corporate foundations, Government departments, philanthropists and charities.

She also leads our charity consultancy work, working closely with charity leaders on developing strategic fundraising plans to engage corporates and major donors to help diversify charities’ incomes.

She managed the Environmental Agency programme on building the long-term resilience of Catchment Based Partnerships. She also leads the advisory support on developing strategic fundraising plans for number of grantees of Lloyds Bank Foundation’s Enhance Support.

In addition she has provided advisory support as part of the £1.3m CAF Resilience programme and Growing Place-based Giving scheme.

Dawa has more than 18 years of international development and fundraising experience and has worked with organisation such as UNICEF, Netherlands Development Organisation (SNV), The Resources Alliance and Loden Foundation.Her other important roles include being Country Expert for Bhutan - Gender and Social Index, OECD and Trustee for Malaria Consortium.

Programme Manager, CAF Resilience

Beth has been working in areas of organisational development and resilience for smaller charities for almost ten years. She ran CAF Resilience, a £1.3m programme funded by philanthropists, helping small charities develop their resilience to ensure their long term survival and the continuation of the vital services they provide. She has also managed the DCMS programme Growing Place-based Giving, working with complex local charitable partnerships to establish long term sustainable models.

Beth has held responsibility for governance and process within a charity, and led on the development and implementation of a quality assurance programme for voluntary organisations across all London boroughs aimed at improving their organisational effectiveness and the quality of their youth participation. Beth was formerly a trustee of a national charity working to alleviate loneliness and social isolation through telephone friendship groups.
